Golomb Ofakim is located in the heart of the HaIr HaVatik neighborhood in Ofakim, between Eli Cohen, Golomb, and HaRav Herzog streets, in close proximity to schools, kindergartens, public buildings, and active community facilities.
The project is planned within an established urban fabric, characterized by existing housing blocks and a strong local neighborhood life. The plan proposes a significant renewal of the area, strengthening the relationship between housing, community, commerce, and open public space.
The project replaces 11 existing housing buildings with five new residential towers, and introduces a large public park designed to serve both the residents of the complex and the surrounding community. In three of the towers, the podium levels include commercial and residential uses, while the other towers incorporate built public areas that enrich the urban environment and support everyday community activity.
The design seeks to create a contemporary, accessible, and community-oriented living environment, strengthening the HaIr HaVatik neighborhood while adding a new layer of urban renewal, high-quality public space, and active city life.
